A Silent Killer

Degenerative Mitral Valve Disease (DMVD) is a deadly progressive disease affecting over 7.5% of the global dog population.

DISEASE

Regurgitation of blood flow leads to stretching of parts of the heart, a backup into the lungs, and eventual heart failure.

The only options are palliative drug treatment or highly invasive open-heart surgery. There is currently no cure for this deadly disease.

CLINICAL SIGNS
